A new way to
sell your property.
CoMaison finds multiple buyers for your property instead of one, often reaching a stronger total price than a single-buyer sale in today's market. We handle the buyer sourcing, legal structure, and ongoing management. You can also choose to keep a share and continue using the property yourself.
Three things a conventional sale rarely offers
A single buyer often negotiates the price down. Eight share buyers each pay for a portion of the property. Their combined total can exceed what one buyer would pay on the open market, particularly for character homes with period features, land, or an exceptional setting. CoMaison finds those buyers; you sell to them.
You don't have to sell everything. Reserve one of the eight shares for yourself. You receive the proceeds from the other seven, your running costs drop to one eighth, and you keep your weeks in the property each year. Sell most of it. Keep the part that matters.
CoMaison manages the buyer sourcing, the shared-ownership structure, and the legal process from start to finish. You sell to the incoming shareholders, not to CoMaison. We coordinate the paperwork and the timeline so the sale can move from agreed terms to completion without the usual chain risk of a single-buyer deal.
Simple. Clear. On your terms
Fill in the form below with the basics: location, size, your sense of what it's worth, and whether you'd want to retain a share. No brochure needed. No commitment required.
We assess whether the property suits shared ownership: character, location, size, and likely appeal to share buyers. We come back to you within 5 working days.
If it's a good fit, we source share buyers and agree the structure, indicative share pricing, and timeline with you, including the option to retain one share if you want it. No obligation to proceed.
CoMaison coordinates the UK Ltd structure the shareholders hold, and the legal work around the transfer into shared ownership. You sell directly to the incoming shareholders and receive the proceeds from the shares sold. If you retained one, you get your owner account and booking access once completion is done.
What makes a property a good fit
- ·Character properties with original period features
- ·France, Italy, Portugal, Spain: rural or small-town
- ·South-east Asia: Bali, Thailand, Vietnam
- ·North Africa: Marrakech, Morocco
- ·Minimum 4 bedrooms, ideally 5+
- ·Pool, land, or exceptional setting
- ·Properties that need renovation: shared ownership can still work where the potential is clear
These ranges describe properties that usually work for shared ownership, not a CoMaison purchase budget. If you're unsure whether yours fits, tell us anyway.
A new way to sell.
On your terms
Most estate agents find you one buyer. CoMaison finds you eight, and the combined price is often higher than a single sale. You can sell all eight shares and walk away. Or sell seven, keep one, and carry on using the property for a fraction of what it costs you today. Your running costs drop by 87.5%. You keep 6–7 weeks a year. And if you retain a share, you also gain access to the wider CoMaison swap network across Europe and Asia.
